My studio was a little cracker cottage, the size of which was dictated by the enormous old oaks surrounding it. The porch sat within six feet of a little pond teeming with panfish, bass, and catfish.  We moved 11/09, so this is no longer my sweet place to play.  But so many people comment on the cottage, that I will leave it here for a while. 

In my new house, I will be setting up a two-car garage as my studio.  The cottage was 24 X 24, and the garage is 21 X 22, so I am not losing too much space.  I've already taken out the garage door, and installed gorgeous French doors and windows in it's place, so the light is beautiful.  There is no sign of a studio yet, though - only boxes piled ceiling high, and furniture tumbling off furniture.  What a mess!
